Do you feel lost and without a sense of identity? You’re not alone. Many people have experienced this, but there is hope! All it takes to find your place in life again is knowing who you are and understanding that God has plans for us no matter what.
When you know Christ, it changes everything. The peace of knowing who we are in Him gives us a new perspective based on hope rather than fear, which sees ourselves as completely loved and accepted by God.
You can find your identity in Christ. He has a plan for your life, and he wants you to know who you are. When you know who you are, everything changes. You’ll see yourself in a new light, and you’ll be able to accomplish great things through him.
God sees you as His crowning achievement. He created you on purpose and for a purpose. If you’re constantly trying to prove yourself, you’re never going to be at peace in your mental wellness journey. It’s always going to be, “As soon as I get over this next mountain.” Because when I climb another mountain, when we take another hill, somehow it makes me feel better about all the uncertainty around us. So it matters that you recognize unhealthy patterns born out of your identity.
Here are three things to know about identity in Christ:
First, identity in Christ sets you free from the anxiety of trying to figure everything out on your own. When you know who you are in Christ, you don’t have to worry about what other people think of you. You can be confident in yourself because you know who you are. It can be easy to get caught up worrying about what other people think of you. It’s natural to want to be liked and accepted, but sometimes that can lead to feeling anxious and stressed. However, if you know who you are in Christ, you can relax and be confident. When your identity is in Christ, you don’t have to worry about impressing others or living up to their standards. You are free to be yourself, and that knowledge can help you relax and enjoy your life. Remember that your identity is in Christ, and let that truth set you free.
Second, identity in Christ gives you a new perspective. When you know who you are in Christ, you’ll see yourself in a new light. You’ll be able to see the world around you through His eyes, and you’ll start to see the possibilities available to you. When you know who you are in Christ, your identity is no longer bound by your past. You are free to be the person God created you to be. This new perspective will change how you see yourself and the world around you. You’ll start to see the possibilities that are available to you. Identity in Christ gives you a new perspective and freedom. These two together will help you live life to the fullest. Identity in Christ enables you to see yourself as God sees you, and you break free from your past. These two things work together to help you live life to the fullest.
Third, identity in Christ changes everything. When you know who you are in Christ, it changes the way you see yourself, the way you see others, and the way you see the world. You’ll be able to accomplish great things through him because he has a plan for your life. When you know who you are in Christ, it completely changes how you see yourself. For starters, you are now seen as forgiven. You are also seen as valuable to God with great purpose. This knowledge enables you to view yourself with complete freedom. Identity in Christ also changes the way you see others. They are not just people who are different from you. They are also loved and valued by God. This knowledge should lead to a deep respect for every person, regardless of their background or beliefs.
God has brought healing to me in lots of areas in my life. One of the tools I use most often has been the 40 I Am’s. Did you catch that? I am still using the 40 I Ams. I constantly remind myself that I am who God says I am. It’s something I declare over and over again-every day-sometimes every hour.
Here’s your copy of the 40 I Ams. Print them out. Declare them over your kids. Declare them over your life.
